More Snow and Photos too!

The trip to the supermarket was successful today and I am happy I don’t have to worry about driving out the next few days. Roads were icy but we drove with extreme caution, only 30km/hour.

Here’s a 50 second clip of us drving out of our neighbourhood, check out the snow!

I forgot to share some photos when my cousin was here last week.

I brought her to my old uni, UCD. It felt good to be back there again, it brought back so many memories!

Checking out UCD lake

I wonder if Aidan will be a UCD graduate one day ;)

We also went to town for a walk in the park, did some souvenir shopping and also lunch at the M&S cafe. It’s a new rooftop restaurant, very cheery and modern. Weather permitting, you could enjoy a good meal overlooking Grafton street and the great thing is, it doesn’t sell your typical sandwiches but instead a good choice of mains and desserts.

Souvenir shopping

Hoping for some Irish luck!

Especially for Aunty Ip!! Thank you so much for the top, boleh beli lagi ;)

Distracting Aidan with a book - it worked!

The next day was Christmas Eve,  we went out again as my cousin was going to meet-up wit her ex-schoolmates. Surprisingly a lot of them are doing Medicine here.

We also rushed to buy some stuff for a pot luck Christmas Dinner with Uji and friends.

Tesco was jam-packed with last minute shoppers. Thank god those girls were with me – they handled Aidan while I joined the million others in the queue!

Window shopping :)

It's nice to have help once in a while...hehe

Alrighty, I will continue with Part 2 when I have the time.

Till then, toodles!

All Good Things Must Come To An End

Photo : O’Reily Hall, UCD. Our graduation was held in this hall.

Looking at these photos bring back many old memories.

When we were there, it felt like forever and we wanted it to end.

But now looking back, those years were actually the best years of our lives.

How I wish we could turn back time. Sigh.

Goodbyes will always hurt and pictures will never replace the feeling of being there.

It was really hard saying goodbye to this place but all good things must come to an end.

ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END’

There is an end to everything, to good things as well. The proverb dates back to about 1374 (Chaucer) and first attested in the United States around 1680.
