Sunday Drive

The Outlet at Bridgewater Park

The Outlet at Bridgewater Park

It was wet, cold and windy over the weekend but that didn’t stop us from going out.

We made a quick stop at a friend’s house in North Dublin where she prepared a yummy meal of nasi ayam and 30 minutes later we were on our way to The Outlet at Bridgewater Park, Northern Ireland.

As I am only down to only one pair of jeans, I made my way to Gap looking for one that wouldn’t burst my budget. I really love the fact that the pound is getting weaker against the Euro and you can get some pretty good deals for below a tenner! I remember my mother-in-law getting a pair of jeans at Marks for only £4.99 which is definitely a steal. Heheh

These photos were actually taken during our last trip here months and months ago but I only decided to put them up now.

We drove back to Dublin that night and had kebab in one of the turkish diners in town.

It was a Sunday well spent.

ps: you’ll probably see less updates in the coming weeks as I have to study for a Paediatric course lined up for end of November :(

Made in Paris

LV Paris

LV Paris

I am ever so glad that the first trimester is well over !

I had a dating scan a few weeks ago and the little baby appears to be growing well. As to date, I am 14 weeks along and it seems that he/she is ‘Made in Paris‘ ( just like the famous LV! ) :D

The little one at 11 weeks

The scan above shows our baby at around 10++ weeks and you can just about see the hands. The head and body can be clearly seen too.

Working in a hospital has it’s advantages as colleagues are ever so willing to do a scan when they are free. I have yet to have a proper and formal assessment! Hopefully soon.

Physically, I am feeling a little better – nausea comes and goes but the tiredness still lingers especially when I am postcall. The belly is making it’s little debut though not entirely obvious and my pants are becoming a little snug around the waist. At the moment I am down to only one pair of jeans!

Although this pregnancy came unexpectedly, we are ever so thankful to Allah. Alhamdullilah.

I hope and pray the second trimester will be an enjoyable one, so here’s a toast to the first trimester!
