Blogging From Work

I’m blogging from the hospital with my new toy!

I upgraded my phone last week to an iPhone for only 99 Euros and so far I’m absolutely loving it.

I had the previous phone for over 2 years and thought it was high time I bought a new one. The old phone was pretty much entry level and there was no way I could store medical software let alone blog. And now I can gladly check my email and surf the net 24/7 anytime, anywhere. The 2MP camera ain’t bad either for taking quick snaps!

Anyway, I recently uploaded iQuran and I find the software brilliant too. It comes in really handy when you’re working long hours and pretty much stuck in the hospital during Iftar and fajar. Hubby thinks it’s brilliant too and has been pestering me to swap phones with him. He was strongly against me getting the iPhone in the beginning as he thought I wanted it merely as a fashion statement, heheh.

So anyway, I really don’t know when I’ll get to update again, hopefully soon. I’ve been really busy nowadays and the tiredness isn’t helping either, I so need a break!

Till next time, tadida!

ps: Im trying to put up photos I took with the phone and it’s turning up at the bottom of the post, strange!

Champs Elysees

I regret not taking French seriously back in secondary school but I am glad I know the basics, enough for me to survive if ever I get lost in France.

arc de triumph

arc de triomphe

I remember back in F2, Mademoiselle made us sing a lot of French songs and the one song that lingers in my head to this very day is ‘Aux Champs Elysees’- such a chirpy and happy song.

I can even sing along if it’s been played, although I don’t really understand the lyrics.

So this tune kept playing in my head while I was walking along the famous boulevard.

a pretty scary moment to get the perfect shot!

We made many trips here as our hotel was just around the corner, and it was terrific for meals and shopping.

yummy french pastry, my favourite- pain au chocolat

There are rows and rows of fabulous cafes/restaurants to choose from and the atmosphere is lively especially in the evenings. The photo below was taken pretty early in the morning and that explains the emptiness.

So that’s it this time, this was meant to be be posted last week but I didn’t get a chance to do so. I was gonna put up a few more posts but looking at how busy i’ll be for the month of September, I doubt so.

I am only wishing for one thing now, I wish I was back home with my family for the month of Ramadhan. It’s my 11th year away from home and my last raya was back in 1999, how sad and pathetic!

So till my next post, ‘Selamat Berpuasa dan Beribadah Di Bulan Yang Mulia Ini’.
